Greenhead Moss Community Group was established in 2011 and is part of the partnership responsible for the sustainable development and management of Greenhead Moss Community Nature Park. Site staff are managed by North Lanarkshire Council. 

Before 2011, the site was managed by the Greenhead Moss Community Trust which was a charity established in 1999.  Over the past eleven years we have achieved a lot; employed an average of 3 people per year, planted over 80,000 trees and held events for over 3500 people. We also attained a level of 85% accessible paths throughout the site and worked to enhance the biodiversity of the site's habitats and species to a point where we won the 2010 SNH Biodiveristy Award.

Our vision for the future is to continue to maintain and promote the park for biodiversity as well as people's enjoyment and health.

We welcome new members and suggestions on the continuing improvement of our park for wildlife and visitors.
